In Good Company

Last week

SaunaGuus were invited to be a part of Culture of Bathing – the largest sauna festival in the US.

It was a big gathering.
Thousands of people, facilitators, builders, brands – many of the key people and companies in the sauna world were there, coming from all over and sharing a deep care for sauna and bathing culture.

We were happy to be invited

Not because of the scale, but because of the diversity.

When so many different interpretations of sauna meet in one place, you’re reminded how many shapes this ritual can take. Different builds. Different traditions. Different ways of guiding. From stripped-back wood-fired rooms to more experimental setups.

And somehow it all translates into the same thing

People taking care of themselves.
Slowing their breathing.
Clearing their minds.

That was the beauty of it.

We showed up with what we know

Proper heat.
Essential oils.
Presence.
Guidance that doesn’t take over the room.

And we got to do it our way.

That part mattered.

In a space filled with...

... strong personalities and big concepts, it felt good to keep things simple. To trust the heat. To let the ritual speak for itself.

We’re grateful to have been invited into that room.
Grateful that what we do resonates outside of Copenhagen, outside of our own circle.

Sauna travels.
Tradition adapts.
But the core stays the same.

Back to building.

Today we're listening to

Voices Carry Through the Mist, Charles Watson feels low and atmospheric.
It feels like steam rising – it drifts. It lingers.
