What should I bring to a Guus?

What should I bring to a Guus?

We get this question a lot - and as we count down the weeks until our mobile unit is up and running, it felt like the right time to share a simple guide to help you get the most out of your session.

Two towels

Bring one to sit on inside the sauna, and one to dry off with afterwards. We recommend a smaller or microfiber towel for the sauna itself.

Water bottle

You’ll sweat. A lot
We’ll have water and complimentary refreshments available, but having your own bottle makes it easier to stay hydrated throughout the session.

Bring one you can take inside with you.
If you forget, we’ll have our own bottles available on-site—built for heat and BPA-free.

Slippers

Easy on, easy off.
A very good idea. We’ll be hosting sessions across different locations in the city, where walking barefoot isn’t always ideal. More importantly, slippers help keep your feet warm - especially between rounds or after a cold plunge.

Swimwear

Wear what you feel comfortable in.
Swimwear is required—so everyone can share the space with ease and respect.

A few pro tips:

Eat well after. Something with salt and minerals to replenish.

Moisturise. Your pores are open—use it.

Keep drinking water. You’ll sweat more than you think.

Finish with a short cold rinse. Don’t leave the session cold.
